Events & activities organised by the churches of Greenwich in support of the 2012 Olympic Games
The churches of Greenwich, London UK are preparing to Welcome the World to Greenwich for the 2012 Olympic Games. This team effort is being coordinated by the Greenwich Churches Olympic Forum which was set up by Greenwich Ecumenical Borough Deans, who represent the churches of the Royal Borough of Greenwich to Greenwich Council.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Volunteers are needed from local churches to support St Alfege’s ‘Open Church Project’ which will be providing a place of ‘Sanctuary’ during the Olympics. Please contact Deborah Richards, our enabler, who will pass your details on to St Alfege’s Church
